Highstreet Wedding Fashion Elegance

Saturday for me is the perfect day for shopping and I love nothing more than when I have no specific item looking to be purchased. When I have plenty of time to wander around the shops and look for bargains and interesting finds.

Of course when you are wedding dress shopping it isn’t like this. You go shopping with a soul purchase of trying on wedding dresses or sourcing bridesmaid dresses to fit and suit all bridesmaids. I remember doing this vividly with my sister as Maid of Honour and my best friend as bridesmaid. Like many brides I was working to a budget, trying to reduce a little here and increase a little there. However with 150 guests most of our budget was allocated to catering.

With the help of BHS Weddings, today I am going to look at the world of highstreet wedding fashion for bridesmaids and brides and uncover some fabulous finds.

A dress that I can imagine for a chic intimate elopement in Paris is the Alicia wedding dress. The gown has a chiffon illusion neckline and opulent lace embroidery stitched at the bodice and down into the dress.

But the last one has to be my favourite and I can picture this for a romantic and vintage inspired destination wedding in the South of France – Sofia.
