I was delighted when this Gone with the Wind meets Coco Channel photo shoot landed in my inbox, full of exquisite details and personal touches to provide style ideas for all sizes of weddings. Submitted by the team at Cedarwood Weddings, who teamed up with Ace Photography and Karen Hendrix Couture for a wedding fashion inspiration shoot at Historic Cedarwood using the “Vivienne” wedding gown.
“Vivienne” is a french-inspired bridal gown that was created by Karen Hendrix Couture which was prestigiously selected for the entrance display at the recent New York Bridal Fashion Week.
From one “Vivienee” to another Vivien who played the award winning Scarlett O’Hara in the iconic Gone with the Wind, the dress and the styling of the photo shoot has a southern vintage vibe accented with Parisian chic touches to provide dramatic yet elegant wedding style inspiration.
There are so many details of this wedding photo shoot that I love including the Paris guest postcards, hot pinks flowers and my favourite the vintage door knob thank you favours just priceless.
And no french inspired wedding would be complete without macarons whether as part of a Laduree inspired dessert or as a delicious wedding treat below wrapped in rustic brown paper.
I love the dog so cute, I wonder if this is part of the wedding decor?? Where can I hire one for weddings…
The cake is simply elegant, clean lines mixed with bold decorations creates a chic wedding cake perfect to add a little french style into wedding celebrations.
Thank you Ace Photography and Historic Cedarwood for allowing us to share these wonderful pictures with my readers.
