One of our favourite pleasures is to introduce FWS Community members to you, and today we have French wedding photographer Madame A Photographie showcasing in The Study. The lady behind the lens at Madame A Photographie is Aline who lives in the French Alps, but travels throughout France to capture your big day.

How did you become involved in wedding photography ?

I began my photography career in the late 2010 and I chose to specialize in weddings in 2013. This choice to capture happy moments was obvious for me.

What skills do you think that it takes to be a fabulous photographer to accurately record someones day?

Being a fabulous wedding photographer takes more than equipment and techniques, it requires patience, kindness and discretion but also a good physical condition to follow couples from the beginning of the end of the day.

What type and style do your brides often have?

I followed many different brides and can’t define a style in general, but I will definitely say that they are all unique and elegant.

I aim to follow couples before, during and after their wedding day in order to build a trustful relationship and make way to the authentic : to photograph a wedding is to tell a story, the TRUE story, YOUR Story !

How does working with a destination couple differ from a domestic couple planning a wedding in France?

Working with a destination couple differs from a domestic couple in the distance we must manage with. I really try to build a special relationship with all the couples I work with and some “rendez-vous” are necessary in this process. It’s a little bit different with destination couples since we try to arrange meetings by phone or Skype to avoid many travels in France for the couple.

What is your favourite part of the photography process for a couple getting married in France?

My favorite part is certainly to discover them in person after many phone or email exchanges.

What is the funniest story about being a photographer

Maybe the craziness of the party? But really so many lovely moments.

What is the best thing about being a photographer

The best thing about being a wedding photographer is giving people beautiful pictures and memories of them that last for a lifetime ! Following them in one of the best day of their life is something quit exciting !

Please tell us about your services and packages

I shoot weddings, pre-weddings or couples sessions anywhere in France and abroad. Following couples in their craziest ideas is always a pleasure.

For weddings I only offer a full day coverage since I want to tell the couple’s full story from the beginning to the end of the day : one price, one package and fine-art albums in option !
