On one beautiful pre-summer’s day on board a 44m superyacht for charter with world-renowned yacht brokerage, Burgess Yachts, we planned a show stopping styled shoot. The day started with an early afternoon of relaxed preparations with VIP hair stylist Kellee’s Hair Design and make up artist to the stars, Irina of Allure Makeup. These two beautiful souls, very much in love, and their closest guests became completely oblivious to the outside world to enjoy a beautiful blessing out at sea.

As the world slowly came to a standstill and the sun began to set to allow for the golden hour to fill the silence of the private anchorage between the Iles de Lérins and the backdrop of Cannes. The flashing lights, glitz, and glamour oozing from the height of the Cannes Film Festival became a distant cry from the shore.

Stars in their own right for the big day, the only stars that could have shone brighter than the bridal couple were those that filled the sky for the intimate cocktail reception. While gently cruising along the coast to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat the couple soaked in all the simple moments at sea. Other guests were whisked onboard to the star-studded reception to be greeted the newlyweds for a gourmet dinner, dancing well into the night, topped off with a fireworks display in the sky concluding what would be known as a truly exceptional occasion.

All that mattered was the here and now. Those present witnessed a blessing of the highest nature, conducted by the Captain himself at the bow of the floating magnificence.
