French country wedding outside Le Mans

It’s officially the start of Christmas week and I have a present of a wedding to share with you today,  Cristina and Nyle’s french country wedding near Le Mans.  Bride Cristina looked elegant and demure in her non traditional wedding dress of black and white polka dotts teamed with timeless black velvet Jimmy Choos and finished the look with a vintage feather hairpiece.

Cristina and Nyle wanted to create a French country styled wedding and choose Chateau Cheronne just outside a little town near Le Mans, nestled in the middle of fields filled with sheep and cows grazing lazily.

In keeping with the style of the wedding, the ceremony took place on the steps of the chateau, and afterwards guests were served cocktails on the long, front lawn. A wedding this relaxed and stylish requires flawless design and coordination provided by Fete in France.

Following the ceremony the couple snuck off with David Wittig to capture some romantic couple images around the estate.

As the sun went down, their guests walked around the back to a large tent with distressed wood floors and chandeliers; topiaries lined the dance floor, and soft purple and green flowers draped the tables.  Within the marquee tent there were also relaxing areas created using shabby chic furniture and rugs for a cozy space within the large tent.

I would have loved to have been a guest at this wedding, it looks so relax yet fun
