Sarah & Mike’s wedding was an intimate affair for their closest friends & family from Australia in a 5 star French Alps wedding venue with the help of Haute Weddings. They chose to marry in the Alps after spending previous seasons working in ski resorts, traveling and exploring the world over. The jagged and powerful mountains of the Mont-Blanc range were the perfect playground for a week of skiing and snowboarding leading up to the wedding!
The venue was a 5-star luxury hotel located half-way up the mountain with the most spectacular views the Alps have to offer! A hamlet of individual chalets with alpine chic sophistication, the guests indulged in spa treatments, world-class skiing, and a relaxing getaway in a unique mountain paradise that they probably do not find in Australia!
Sarah did a phenomenal job with DIY projects for her décor. Confetti cones filled with yellow rose petals, little wooden wicker hearts laced with beautiful yellow & grey ribbon for the pew ends at the chapel, disposable cameras with a different personalized quote attached to each individual one, champagne glasses also with a hand-written note/quote attached to the stem of the glass …the 40 guests were mesmerized by the beauty and personalized touch Sarah & Mike put into every detail of their wedding!
Guests partied until 5am, and only those who did not sleep at all managed to change directly out of the dancing shoes into their snowboard boots to continue the exceptional weekend festivities!!
