Meet Fabienne Slater from Elian Concept Weddings & Events

Have you ever wondered about the men and women who work away behind the scenes of weddings & events? The experts, support workers and unseen heroes who make weddings truly memorable? This is the first in what I hope will be a series of posts where we get to meet some of these unseen heroes and find out a little more about them.

So today we are going to find out more about the wedding planner behind Elian Concept Wedding & Events, Fabienne Slater.

Fabienne: “I created Elian Concept Weddings & Events out of a passion for romance and beauty both of which are key elements in a wedding. I am as well an organisation freak, list mad and a perfectionist and wedding planning seemed a natural profession for me.

I particularly love the wedding day, when you see all the hard and lengthy work come together like pieces of a puzzle. Then to witness the smile of the bride, the happiness of the groom, the joy of friends and family is fantastic reward.

We pride ourselves in offering a truly bespoke service. We don’t do packages as we feel they are never quite right for our discerning customers. Instead we start with a blank page and look for ideas, venues and suppliers that will fulfil the couple unique vision.

Having an ‘everything is possible’ attitude can be challenging at times but more rewarding, although we have to be realistic and common sense must prevail especially to balancing expectations and budget.

Our fees are fixed and are based on the level of involvement required. They are set by contract at the beginning of the planning process and we pass on any commission from venues or suppliers.

Professionalism and integrity are very important to us. To reflect this Elian Concept Weddings & Events is a member of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, and we strictly follows their code of business practice. Therefore our clients can always be confident that we are 100% dedicated to getting them the best for their wedding.
