Movie inspired elopement wedding Paris

elopement wedding paris

What better way to round off the week than with a super romantic movie inspired elopement wedding Paris. Linda and Louie are from New York, New York and their elopement took place on a windy and rainy day in April captured by Juliane Berry Photography.

The couples choice of wedding location was inspired by films such as Casablanca and Funny Face, where both of the main characters fall in love in Paris. Following the couples intimate wedding, bride Linda was inspired by the city for a spontaneous trash the dress shoot in a fountain!   In addition to their Paris wedding day, the couple opted for a post wedding photo shoot, recreating an Audrey Hepburn photo from heir favorite film, Funny Face.  In the spirit of Casablanca, Louie’s favorite film, he wore a trench coat for their Lovelock photos.

We wanted to have a free flow day in a place we had never been before. Linda’s mother passed away a few years prior, so having a big traditional wedding without her present wasn’t something we wanted to do. We honored Linda’s mother that day by placing her favorite yellow sunglasses pin on the bouquet.

We were like kids running around this beautiful city. It rained a bit but we didn’t mind. Linda’s best friend Salina was the officiant, so it made it just that much more special.
