Elegant French Chateau Wedding in Lorraine

Hello dear FWS readers, and a happy Tuesday to you! Today on the blog is an elegant French chateau wedding in Lorraine, in the center of France. The amazing and historical Château de Presich is a unique setting for weddings, and today’s wedding of Sarah and Xavier was captured by Studio Mennesson and planned by Un Chouette Event.

On big moments of your life, it is better to plan well ahead than be spontaneous. For wedding couple Sarah and Xavier, their 15-month preparation was well worth for the joyous stress-free experience. Let’s take a look…

Here’s their love story…

Sarah and Xavier asked Amelie of Un Chouette Event, to be their wedding planner/designer 15 months before their wedding. There were “connection” during those months of planning! They sent a lot of emails to plan their perfect wedding. Sarah wanted an elegant (but a little fun!) wedding.

The venue they chose was the beautiful French Château. The old barn was the place where the dinner took place. It was a wonderful place with wood beams and walls of stones. Two beautiful chandeliers hung from the ceiling make a nice, amber light that fits the warm mood for all the guests.

There were decors with golden candle sticks, and flowers compositions from Lettre A Elise Events. It was also very important to have nice tissues and Mademoiselle Cotton provided light grey linen napkins and table clothes. It is the kind of details which made the difference. Un Chouette Event created a sober stationery to add on the tables.

On the big D-Day, the sun was there, and the ceremony which set in the park was perfect, full of laugh and love!
The guests had a nice time talking, laughing and drinking champagne during the cocktail, around tables and chairs.

The dinner was set in the barn with a lot of animations from the family and friends, and everybody danced on a Hip-Hop playlist! For the story, Sarah and Xavier are a fan of Hip Hop and asked Un Chouette Event to find a DJ who has a good culture of old and recent Hip Hop, because they wanted a lot of that kind of music during their party.
