It has been a little while since I brought you a movie so for a second post today we have the country wedding film of Olivia and Kris at Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas in the heart of Provence. A lovely wedding, which took place in the countryside of Provence, in a small town steeped in history.
Destination Wedding Videographer Matteo Castelluccia takes us through the day: “We flew in from Italy to Marseille and we headed to the location of the wedding, Comptoir Saint-Hilaire a beautiful villa in Provencal style. Olivia and Kris had booked the entire hotel and with friends and family spent a wonderful week before the wedding in this beautiful place.
On the day of the wedding the Wedding Planner, Yollène Graindorge, was finishing decorating the tables for dinner and a delicious smell was emanating from the kitchen where Jay from La Table d’L, was preparing dinner.
Kris the groom, still in shorts and t-shirt, takes us to the place where the ceremony will take place outdoors under the beautiful trees. A rustic arch has been made from recycled wood and sheets to form a focal point to the proceedings along with an altar table and bridal chairs. The rustic theme has been carried through to the guest chairs which are an eclectic mix, but uniformed in decoration , ready to receive guests, all prepared by Camille from 2L Festivités.
The florist, Fleurs Carré, is placing the last arrangements around the grounds whilst the band, Olivier Piot jazz band, does the sound check. We are approaching the bridal preparation room for Olivia, where on the closet door the beautiful wedding dress of the bride’s in hanging below which are Olivia’s shoes from Navyboot. Gaëlle from K-LYPSO Coiffure tends to Olivia’s hair and make up as friends are all around preparing, in a relaxed atmosphere, full of happiness and emotions…”
