I love creating ultra romantic wedding inspiration boards fit for a fairytale Chateau or rustic farmhouse in Provence, but today I am going all out fun and colour and looking at confetti wedding themes.
This theme has an air of cheekiness about it to me, a playful design style to add into a wedding theme. Using ivory or white as the base colour, combine in your favourite colours of confetti. I have gone for a bright and bold rainbow coloured confetti in polka dot.
As well as being a fun and spring/ summer style it can also be budget friendly if you think creatively. Most confetti is just shapes made out of coloured/ patterned paper. Be resourceful as to the materials that you can use and scissors and a hole punch are the perfect way to create your own designer confetti.
Balloon decorations: The Berry, Cake: Bake My Cake, Bouquet with bride and groom: Pinterest, Confetti: Knot and Bow, Invitation: Hello Happy Paper, Tablescape: Mirabella Creations, Macarons: Vanilla Skies, Nail inspiration: Norm and Lou, Bridesmaid Dress: Shabby Apple,
When it comes to bridesmaids dresses, although I air on the side of caution for anyone apart from the bride wearing white, I think these polka dot dresses from Shabby Apple are perfect for a chic and playful bridal party. They also have the benefit of being a super cute dress that your bridesmaids are likely to wear again.
I would love to create wedding board and ideas tailored for your wedding planning. Don’t forget to email in your suggestion to firstname.lastname@example.org with Inspire Me in the subject line, and you might see your idea on the blog.
