Classical Valbonne Wedding France

To kick us off today we have for you a beautiful light filled Classical Valbonne Wedding in the south of France. Valbonne is a beautiful old town and the perfect place to enjoy a glass of Rosé while you watch the world go by in true French style. Our gorgeous couple Florence and Romain tied the knot in a civil ceremony at the Mairie before celebrating with their loved ones at the Auberge de la source, a restaurant in the heart of the forest.

Their photographer Thomas Audiffren who is inspired by fine art photography and dreamy soft light will be walking us through their big day…

The wedding was set in the Auberge de la source, an intimate and beautiful restaurant in Valbonne, in the heart of the famous Valmasque forest.

Florence wore a lace edged French wedding gown from Rezzo Mariage which she paired with a beautifully bright bouquet created by Le Jardin Secret.

I was so happy to meet Florence and Romain, almost one year before their wedding. The first time was during their friend’s wedding and we hit it off instantly! It is very important for me to create strong relationships with my clients and I am so honoured every time guests of previous weddings become my next bride and groom, what a feeling! As real travel fans, the couple was inspired by Romain’s proposal in the region of Connemara in Ireland, a year ago, and the colours of Japan (their honeymoon trip).

I adore the quiet, peaceful charm of a photo shoot in the heart of nature. I felt so lucky to discover this fairytail location in the Valmasque forest a few steps away form the restaurant’s location. The light piercing through the trees and the sound of the river were so inspiring. It really gave this photo session tones that I adore and cherish. When you don’t find the exact spot you love in a venue, do not hesitate to search for the best location nearby with the help of your photographer.

For me, beautiful light is one of the most important components of a successful wedding photo shoot and this day, the light for this Valbonne Wedding was just… amazing!
