Happy Tuesday lovelies, today we are sharing with you the wonderful Chateau de Lisse destination wedding of Erin and Simon, who came all way from the USA for their luxury destination wedding. With the help of wedding planner Joanne Braham at Chateau de Lisse they planned their Game of Thrones inspired wedding day that certainly impressed their guests.
Our bride Erin looked stunning in her suitably luxurious lace dress by Sottero and Midgley coupled with her elegant and chic Badgley Mischka shoes with hair and make up by Lizbeth. Each detail was carefully thought of which created a glamorous affair perfect for wedding photographer Elena Joland who captured every small detail perfectly especially those dramatic bouquets. Elena and Joanne will be walking us through this Chateau de Lisse Destination Wedding…
“Wonderful couple Erin and Simon both live in the USA and decided to tie the knot in the luxury charm of the South of France at the glorious Chateau de Lisse. This autumn day was filled with sunny emotions and golden light.”
“Lavish and bold floral bouquets and decoration designed by Le Coeur Sauvage Wedding Florist, reflected the Game of Thrones theme of this wedding: dramatic and colourful with deep red shades. White anemones for the bride’s bouquet and scarlet red flowers for bridesmaids bouquets is an original way to add bright accents.”
“Erin looked stunning in her mysterious and lacy dress, preciously made by Sottero and Midgley, with elegant and chic Badgley Mischka shoes and perfect make up and hair by Lizbeth.”
“I would like to mention Erin’s exclusive wedding ring, which calls “crown the Queen” made by talented jewelry designer Nick Engel.”
This magical day was perfectly planned by Joanne Braham and here is what she said about it…
“Each wedding is different in styling, colour and personalised to each couple, so I was intrigued when I first skyped Erin and Simon, when the bride to be told me her theme was based on Game of Thrones. She provided me with an image of how she would like her wedding meal set up, we had navy tablecloths, gold napkin rings and gold plate chargers complemented with dramatic floral displays in gold vases and urns. The overall effect was stunning and a very unique wedding theme in accordance to her wishes and vision. We even closed the shutters in the Grand Salon so guests dined by candlelight. The wedding ceremony was held in the old private church of Chateau de Lisse with only candlelight and melodic sounds of the harp, that gave a feeling of intimacy and solemnity and loftiness.”
“In October the light is really special: rays of warm light mix with the slightly gold foliage of trees. It’s perfect for the creation beautiful and airy photos. So I enjoyed the golden hour to take some timeless photos for this nice couple.”
“The wedding day was finished with an unforgettable dinner. Long banquet-style tables decorated with flowers in deep hues, candles and golden base plates, and all these with stylish music sets by DJ James Carr, give the impression that we were honoured by the presence at the wedding of the king and the queen. What a day to remember!”
Congratulations Erin and Simon from everyone here at French Wedding Style!
