Popcorn ready as we are off to the movies today with a oodles of star bridal style inspired by movie heroines featuring some iconic favourites such as The Artist and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.The shoot was put together by Accessories Designer Caroline Caëls from Sautoir et Poudrier , a newlywed who created online shop Sautoir et Poudrier for her passion for the fashion of the roaring twenties and the post-WW2 period.
Caroline tells us about her first inspirational shoot: “I wanted to create a complete inspiration for my brides, from bridal accessories to the dress and even the wedding decoration, to make them discover a part of my personal universe. I choose five themes, inspired by some of my favorites movies : The Artist, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Modern Millie and Hello Dolly ; the last theme was the Cinema.
I imagined the jewels and the accessories each heroines of these movies would have asked me to create for them. With my collaborators, we try to capture the ambiance of each theme to design the perfects scenes – decoration, stationery, dresses and accessories.”
