Last week I launched a new weekly inspiration board feature on French Wedding Style and I am delighted today to introduce you to renowned US Blogger Sara from Burnett’s Boards, with her blush and gold wedding inspiration board. Sara’s blog provides daily wedding inspiration boards, styled shoots, and fashion for brides that are searchable by colour and style and let me tell you she has a board for every style imaginable.
Burnett’s Boards are one of my daily readers and always managed to brighten any day with a creative outlet of wedding fabulousness.
Aloha! I’m Sara from Burnett’s Boards and I’m so thrilled to be here on French Wedding Style today and honored that Monique asked me to guest post! I’ve been a longtime fan. What’s not to love about weddings in France?
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of France is French food. I adore it but unfortunately I don’t get to eat it too often because the two French restaurants on the island I live on here in Hawaii are pretty expensive. But – that’s why you see the macaroon picture in this inspiration board and romantic candlelight. It reminds me of a delicious night out at my favorite restaurants.
The other thing I think of right away is super feminine romance. So when I was asked to design a French styled wedding inspiration board I went right to blush and gold – quite possibly the most romantic and girlie color combination out there!

Most people also think of champagne and fashion when they dream of France so the bride in her trendy gold sequin skirt and the sparkly shoes are just the right details. And that gorgeous cake from Maggie Austin screams ‘couture!’
I hope you’ve enjoyed this inspiration board and I look forward to hosting Monique Burnett’s Boards soon to tell us all (from an expert’s point of view!) how to style weddings in a beautifully French way.
