Belle Bride Victoria – Wedding Day is here!

Belle Bride Victoria

Time is going so fast and today for our Belle Bride Victoria the wedding day is here!  If you missed anything of Victoria’s wedding planning journey you can catch up here, and don’t forget to keep you eyes peeled as we will be welcoming Victoria back later in the year to share the wedding.

So let’s catch up with Bride to Be Victoria:

Hello everyone,

This is already my last post before the wedding and I still have so much to share. First of all I am feeling extremely excited (it will be hard to wait 2 weeks until our departure for France) a bit nervous but mostly peaceful and grateful.

The last month has been a lot about logistic and stress, booking the delivery times for all the professionals, guests arrival, budget… But I was also able to book two spa appointments, one for a massage on the Friday and the other one for mani-pedi the morning of the wedding.

In this last run our families and friends are amazing, we really feel their support and it makes us really confident for the big day. We assigned important tasks to each of them during the wedding (ring, money, being the contact person for the professionals, guests pick up, speech…) to make sure our only focus will be this very important day.

We also set a date in August for a wedding party here, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to celebrate with our dear friends at home. We still need to send the save the date but we booked the caterer and hope we can organize it at our future home (we have been looking for one for 3 months now). We were not sure what to do really as the ceremony and rings would have been already exchanged in France, but because our marriage will have to be recognized in Canada as well we were thinking of having a small legal ceremony. Instead of France, you can get legally married in your garden in Nova Scotia.

Are you getting married in two different countries? What are your plans?

I tried my fabulous dress two weeks ago for the last time, Katrina did an amazing job, I felt like a queen in it. The only problem being that with the intense stress of the past months I gained weight and was a bit tight to be comfortable. I started another round of 21 Day Fix two weeks ago with my Beachbody team and the results are amazing. I tried this program last year and lost over 10lbs in 2 months only to take it back in the last 2 months. I am very happy with this program but most importantly the support of my wonderful team the Hustle Squad and my coach Taryn.

wedding day is here flight to France

Finally I am very excited to flight to France in two weeks with two friends from Canada coming at the wedding, we got a tourist visa canada so we are going back with them to get to know their country a little bit. We have planned two weeks in the South of France before the wedding to enjoy the sun. Our first stop will be Bordeaux to visit my brother then Montpellier, my hometown and we will also spend 3 days in Barcelona before driving to the North for the wedding 🙂

Thank you so much for following my journey as a bride, I can’t wait to share the result with you after the wedding 😉
