Happy Thursday lovelies, on the blog for you today we have a styled shoot that will inspire any future bride no matter what season they are planning on getting married in. Set in Provence this 70’s inspired all seasons wedding inspiration shoot has been created with a season in mind for each stage of a wedding day.
Created by photographers Solanum Photo Studio and wedding planners Marelles Weddings this Provence styled shoot also throws in references to the famous painter Cezanne as the shoot took place at the Sainte-Victoire Mountain, a favourite place of the painter.
Taking inspiration from the four seasons and giving each season it’s own look we are sure all brides reading this will find plenty of inspiration for planning their own destination wedding in France, especially if you’re a lover of the 70’s era! We shall now turn things over to wedding planner Marie Armand from Marelles Weddings who will take us through this 70’s inspired all seasons wedding inspiration shoot…
“This styled shoot was a little bit crazy and imagined around one of our many aperitifs with Fred and Laura, from the agency Solanum.”
“We wanted to highlight a wedding for each season. We came up with the idea of representing all the stages of a wedding as a season, for example, Autumn represented wedding preparations, the Winter season was for the wedding ceremony and wine reception, we chose Spring for cocktail hour and Summer represented the reception.”
“We wanted every season/stage to have its own identity, so we went in search of ideas and creativity. Autumn will be in orange tones, with autumn leaves and a 70’s style. Winter will be white and wood, a ceremony in a warm and bright atmosphere and a hot Vin d’honneur in winter tones. For spring we wanted a very flashy cocktail with pop’s of colour. Finally for the summer, we wanted to wink to our region, Provence. We decided to honour the painter Cezanne and make a dinner in the middle of the Sainte-Victoire Mountain, a favourite place of Cezanne.”
“A dinner in the colours of ocher and green in the middle of this mountain with the wink to the painter, a menu all in watercolours on a wooden easel.”
“Concerning the vendors, a Marseille designer was close to us, Les Midinettes, who offers tailor-made creations and especially original and refined bridal gowns which fit perfectly to the style that we wanted to impose on this shoot.”
“The Solanum couple, Fred and Laura, took care respectively of the photos and the stationery. Finally, Aurelie, a friend of the Solanum couple, kindly offered to model for this styled shoot.”
