Nothing like scenes from the beautiful South of France to brighten up those Monday morning blues and that is what we are doing today, with Christina and Paul’s romantic wedding in Aix en Provence planned by Elegance in France.
Bride Christina is half American and half French and Paul is Canadian. The couple both love art and it is thus quite naturally that they decided to seal their union in Aix en Provence, the city of the talented Paul Cézanne.
The wedding celebrations started the day before, with a rehearsal dinner that was held at an amazing venue dedicated to painting.
Audrey from One and Only Paris Photography says: “The wedding venue was as beautiful as the wedding. Christina wanted something elegant with a touch of Provence. As color scheme, she chose coral to match her Valentino shoes and bridesmaids dresses.
The ceremony was held in front of the ancient church of the Chateau de Grimaldi. Guests were treated to a cocktail reception that took place poolside amidst the ancient stone ruins.
Following the cocktail hour, guests made their way into the marquee for dinner, collecting their escort card from drawers filled of dry lavender.”

Aix-en-provence looking gorgeous as usual!
I love the bride’s elegant style and those shoes….wow! What a beautiful day, beautifully captured.
What a phenomenally gorgeous wedding – the setting, the bridal styling – everything!
A beautiful bride! And it was lovely to see touches of lavender, with Aix en Provence being the lavender growing centre for Europe.
Beautiful wedding and great memories!
All the best from the band 😉 (Spyglass)
