Welcome to another fabulous week! How was your weekend? Ours was spent getting a head start on packing as we have found the location of the new Trulove HQ (subsidance not withstanding). If you follow the blog on Pinterest do please excuse the increase in interior design inspired pins as I look for inspiration for how to redecorate every room.
Today’s real couple Géraldine and Fred had a long courtship of 13 years before Fred summoned up the courage to propose. He did so in Rome, which of course is just fabulous as that is where Mr Trulove and I got engaged. The big day was a wedding in Basque Country in the South West of France and was captured by Peggy Picot from Maison Pestea.

Bride Géraldine takes us through their love story and big day: “13 years after we met, Fred proposed to me in the romantic Rome! And after a year and a half of preparation, we said “oui je le veux” in a small town in the south of France. The reception took place in a property that once belonged to Fred’s family. It was an important place where he had precious memories.
We wanted the wedding to be like us with a mix between vintage and DIY decoration. We did everything from the stationery to the funny photo booth, we put some some traditional games for the kids in the garden. On the wedding day, in the morning, there wasn’t stress anymore! So we enjoyed every moment with our friends and close family. We keep very emotional memories of this happy day.”
