You may have heard Paris called the City of Love, but today we are off to the Town called Love, real name Aime in the Rhône-Alpes region of South-eastern France, for the real wedding of Aurelie and Julien.
Set in the Tarentaise Valley in the Alps, the panoramic Alps view provided a stunning back drop to Aurelie and Julien’s wedding day journey. The couple tied in the knot in French wedding ceremony and blessing at the local church, before departing along with their guests to a local hotel to continue the wedding celebrations.
The couple commissioned Photographer Sylvain le Lepvrier to capture a photo essay of their big day, preferring a reportage style rather than the traditional photography style.
Sylvain said:”I followed Aurélie Julien and all day to try to capture these small fleeting moments. They gave me “carte blanche” to pull this off, so I could capture the love between the couple on their big day.
It really was a day filled with emotion, happiness and love. They were surrounded by their family and a group of friends as they celebrated their wedding days in such a stunning setting.”
