Shauna and Philippe’s wedding was chic romance, set in the heart of Paris where the bride wore a stunning romantic Jenny Packham wedding dress. Shauna and Philippe chose Paris to exchange their vows in front of their closest family members, with the whole day captured by One and Only Paris Photography. English speaking Paris photographer Audrey takes us through the day: “It was raining and freezing all day, but Shauna was so happy she couldn’t stop smiling all day long.
Shauna got ready with her sister in the stunning Saint James hotel. While waiting for her car to go to the church, we ran into the former French First Lady, who said to the bride she was beautiful. Shauna smiled, but I could tell with the excitement she didn’t recognized her so I told her discretely who she was! Shauna was so excited and honored to have received a compliment for Carla Bruni Sarkozy.
A short while later we happened to run into her again in the bar of the hotel and she was gracious enough to take a photo with the bride. Shauna and her sisters couldn’t stop laughing because Shauna seems to always run into celebrities wherever she goes: so even on her wedding day she did it!
Following Shauna and Philippe’s intimate wedding at American Church, we toured the city in a vintage blue Citroen to capture their love at some iconic Paris locations. The timeless romantic photo session was made all the more enjoyable, with crowds of tourists cheering at the newlyweds and the car!
Then the couple the continued their wedding celebrations and met their family at the gastronomic restaurant Lasserre for an elegant intimate dinner.
