Real Life Wedding Film Franche-Comte – Chateau de Clairvans

For today’s real life wedding film by Laskoni Hax multicamera film director, we are travelling to the lesser known area of Franche-Comté, the former ‘free county’ of Burgundy which borders Switzerland, also known as the region of 1000 lakes.

Alisa and Nicolas had their religious ceremony in Saint-Hippolyte Collegiate Poligny before the main celebrations at the nineteenth century Chateau de Clairvans, the setting for the chic and relaxing wedding.  At the heart of the Jura mountains, the Chateau dominates the town of Clairvans Chamblay, between Poligny, Arbois and Salins-les-Bain.

The couple took a romantic tour of the courtyard of the Ursulines, where the old Ursuline Convent was founded in the buildings founded in the seventeenth century.

The grooms cake was a piece monte of rum cream puffs  which represented the Guadeloupe, a Caribbean island located in the Leeward Islands, in the Lesser Antilles.  The reception room inside the Chateau was transformed in Guadeloupéenne oasis with real palms and other tropical plants, exotic scents a menu blending flavors between the Jura and the Caribbean.  Guests danced the night away to tropical music on the multi-coloured dance floor.
