I am a little bit jealous today as I share with you a post wedding shoot in Paris by ArinaB Photography. My jealousy stems from this is something that I think would have been really fun to do a little after your wedding day. When there is no pressure on timings and you can enjoy the day in your favourite city or location, with just you and your new husband, and of course the photographer.
With wedding dresses being one of the highest single ticket items at a wedding, it is really nice to be able to wear them on another adventure. This time maybe try out that more daring hairstyle or makeup options.
This is exactly what newlyweds Anastassia and Roman did, even giving Anastassia’s ‘spare’ wedding dress an outting.

Anastassia takes us through their post wedding shoot and touring Paris in a wedding dress: “Roman and I go way back; we will celebrate 15 years (on December 22nd) since the day we’ve met. Story is very sweet: girl goes to the school disco, boy asks a girl for a dance (Eastern European thing when boys ask girls to dance to a ballad), girl says yes… then life happened and we parted different ways. To cut the story short, we have reunited in London, UK and have been together since that time.
Roman popped the question after testing our relationship for a good few years and even proposal was a tough one – on top of Kilimanjaro! We didn’t rush into a wedding, but when we have finally decided to get married in London, everything happened so quickly. Arrangements, invitations (nobody believed us we have finally decided to tie the knot!). For every bride & groom THE WEDDING DAY is magical and it really was. Most importantly, we had our amazing friends and family around.
I am a true romantic with a vintage twist, so when I saw Arina’s photo shoot via my friend I fell in love with her work. It felt like we spoke the same language and I desperately wanted to have a photo shoot in the city of love. We we so lucky that Arina was in France on vacation and agreed to do a bridal photo shoot. The whole experience was unbelievably magical and I got another chance to wear my wedding dress again!!
If you want to dive into your magical wedding day again, definitely arrange for a bridal photo shoot a few months after. Maybe you couldn’t celebrate your day in a special location, have a spare dress (I did :)) or want to have a bridal shoot without rushing to reception & guests; having an extra session is a fantastic way re-live those magical moments again!”
