Plan your wedding your way, that is what wedding magazines and wedding blogs will tell you and that is exactly what today’s couple Ashley and John did with the help of Fete in France. From Washington DC, the couple and their close friends and family celebrated their May nuptials with a Memorial day weekend wedding in Paris.
Ashley, John and their guests made a full weekend out of it, starting with a boat cruise and cocktail party on the Seine the night before. The couple incorporated lots of personal details into their wedding including a feed bag for each guest. A great way to donate to the feed the world movement as well as give their guests an excellent favor filled with wine, cheese, a baguette and much more.
The couple started their wedding day off with a first look and pictures around the city with One & Only Photography. They then went on to their intimate ceremony in a gorgeous salon in the Shangri-la. After the ceremony they moved to the grand salon for cocktails and dinner, while they enjoyed great jazz music by Original Paris Swing. Ashley & John chose a globe as their guestbook to have guests sign where they were from. After dinner it was time for a delicious croquembouche presentation. The couple was given a beautiful send off by their family and friends with handmade ribbon wands made by the brides mother & father.
Thank you to Anne from Fete in France for submitting this beautiful wedding.
