I got a little giddy at the favours from this wedding, nothing less than Ladurée for Sabrina and Ethan’s guests, how chic! Their enticing looking dessert table also featured Ladurée deliciousness complimenting their multi-course dinner perfectly – such a treat!

Sabrina and Ethan planned such an elegant affair with the help of wedding planners Fête in France. The black tie event included a wonderful ceremony officiated by Ethan’s Grandfather which I thought was a very sweet personal touch. I do love to hear about how each couple approaches the ceremony part of their big day, after all it’s the most important part! Sabrina and Ethan included the cutest vow books.

From a romantic engagement on the Côte d’Azur to a luxury destination wedding in Paris, this beautiful wedding full of gold sparkle is not to be missed…

Sabrina & Ethan were engaged during a vacation on the Côte d’Azur so the idea of having their wedding in France came naturally.

They opted for the elegance of Paris and chose the Mona Bismarck American Center, a historic private mansion turned into a museum. Formerly the residence of Mona Bismarck, a fashion icon of the 30’s and one of the most photographed women of her time, the venue features a private garden as well as several beautiful salons decorated in elegant Parisian style.

The ceremony took place in the garden and was officiated by Ethan’s charismatic grandfather.

Guests were then treated to a cocktail hour with savory snacks and of course lots of champagne and the groom and grandfather’s favorite whisky, Johnnie Walker Blue Label.

The elegant multi-course dinner, prepared by a private chef, was served in the grand salon – a room dripping with history as well as crystal chandeliers and gilt detail.

It was the perfect setting for couple’s gold and white decor theme, with linens, tableware, chairs and guests all participating in gilding the festivities.

Another very important part of the reception was the delicious dessert buffet with pastries from both sides of the Atlantic: a petit 2-tier wedding cake was served alongside delicious French pastries from Ladurée.
