Light and Airy Le Prieuré de Vernelle Real Wedding

Hello lovelies, as we are nearly at the end of the week we wanted to share with you this beautiful light and airy Le Prieuré de Vernelle real wedding. We just love the historic location of today’s wedding and feel it suits our couples wedding perfectly!

Le Prieuré de Vernelle is a former Benedictine priory in a 20 hectare park where Aurore & Willy decided to tie the knot with their closest friends and family there to celebrate with them.

We love Aurore’s sweetheart wedding gown which she teamed with a pink and white rose bouquet. Aurore also designed a very unique wedding table plan, its so striking and perfectly fits in with their travel inspired day. “The lovely couple’s names are Aurore & Willy and here is their story. They have known each other since they were young but couldn’t see each other very often during their teenage years because of their studies. Aurore was in London and Willy in France however their loving relationship began in 2011 when Aurore returned to France.”

“Willy asked for Aurore’s hand in marriage during their trip to Cuba in January 2016 and the couple agreed to get married at registry office and in a church on the same day and decided to celebrate their love on September 17th, 2016.”

“They only had a few short months to organise their wedding so when they came back from their vacation, they started looking for providers for their wedding day.”

“They started with the most important: the location. During their first visit, Aurore & Willy were already conquered by Le Prieuré de Vernelle and fell in love with this beautiful place for their big day.”

“Le Prieuré de Vernelle is a wonderful and romantic place, entirely built with stone and surrounded by large fields. This priory is set in Seine et Marne, south of Paris.”

“For their big day, we suggested to them a “First look”. It’s an intimate moment before the ceremony where the bride and groom see each other for the first time. As we can see in these pictures, Aurore sneaked up behind Willy, as he was standing and waiting, with a big smile. It was an real emotional moment!”

Our bride and groom enjoy travelling and they organised a wedding that is just like them. For the cocktail reception, they hired a band of jazz musician to liven up the end of the afternoon at sunset. They enjoyed the company of their family and friends in this lovely place during their wedding day.”
