French Shabby Chic Style: Part 2 – Table Decoration

As you know I love shabby chic french style and have already brought you my favourite french shabby stationery, so today I am going to share with you the second in the series –  table decorations.

If you are creating your own shabby chic inspired wedding table decoration, think soft pastel colours, gleaming glassware, an array of white and pastel flowers all finished with a sophisticated chic finish. The design is soft with a feminine feel and its essence lies in renovating older pieces of importance.  A regimented unified look is not important for a shabby chic design, so feel free to mix and match glassware, vases and even crockery to achieve your own bespoke design.

I have a huge library of images, so these are my favourite venue decoration images as well as a few recent key finds if you are creating your own DIY french shabby chic wedding theme.

  • A lovely post, Monique!
I think you can get the look quite easily with candelabras, chandeliers, distressed furniture and with the right florals thrown in. I personally ADORE the birdcages and am going to have to get myself one sometime soon!
    Many thanks:)
