French-Inspired Luxe Wedding Styled Shoot

We are looking towards French-Inspired Luxe Wedding Styling today in a Parisian inspired shoot from Denver created by Pink Paisley Events and captured by Urban Safari.  From the beautiful food to the stunning photography there are so many wonderful elements in this styled shoot, but I particularly love the use of lush blooms by The Perfect Petal to add colour and texture to the displays.

From the wedding planner Pink Paisley Events behind this shoot: “When it comes to styling and planning I always tend to think a little outside the box of what Denver is known for. I am always inspired by beautiful fabrics and textures, rich colored flowers, and glamorous wedding gowns. With the combination of all three I was able to plan and design a Parisian-inspired styled shoot with wonderful vendors here in Denver.

I spent a few weeks in France and as I traveled all over the country I found that lavender was a popular color and also graced the Mediterranean coast with its fresh scent. Exposed brick and beams were architecturally designed for all of the local bakeries and gelato shoppes, and those restaurants were on every corner.

Parisians love food, quality time with one another, and architecture. With this perfect recipe I was able to gather vendors who did an installation of candelabras dripping with luxurious flowers, glass table tops, the Napoleon furniture in black and white, the exposed brick peeking through Wash Park Studio, and the models unique look delivered the most perfect shoot with Urban Safari Photography.

From The Perfect Petal: “For our French-inspired shoot, I chose lush blooms using the beautiful textures of lilac, dahlias, hydrangea, garden roses, cappuccino rannunculas and flowering grevilla to set the stage with pops of black centered anemones and Icelandic poppies for contrast. Blush peonies, baby blue hyacinth and muscari and antique hydrangea rounded out the palette. We were inspired by the romantic undertones of Paris, the rich colors of the city paired with the elegance of the iconic architecture. We played with the contrast of the urban vibe paired with rolling countryside and elegant city streets and imagined lush blooms; how they contrast such a beautiful landscape.”

Photographer Urban Safari says:  “In a past life, I taught high school French for five years at a high school in Denver. After I transitioned into wedding photography as my full-time gig, I greatly missed the culture of France and being able to teach my students about it. When Sarah of Pink Paisley Events contacted me about a French-inspired shoot, I knew this was my jam!

I helped select the flowy, feminine + floral gown, which paired perfectly with the model’s dewey natural makeup, as Parisians are all about natural beauty. Savana’s hairstyle was a throwback to glam Paris and her groom looked sharp next to her in a classic black suit. The food was a huge part of the shoot, as the French love their cuisine. We selected a coq au vin, an artisanal cheese plate plus the very-necessary French bread; macarons + an amazing upscale cake rounded out the gastro selections for dessert. With all of these items pieced together at Wash Park Studio, we created a little piece of Paris in the city of Denver!
