Colourful & Beautiful Corsica Wedding

I can’t believe that in all the time of the blog that I haven’t featured a real life wedding on Corsica, but that is exactly what I have for you today a lively and colourful Corsica wedding.

Cloé and Antoine married in a civil wedding as well as a ceremony in the Church of the assumption of Cargèse on ” the island of beauty ” Corsica. The couple live in Paris by organised everything during numerous stays including the wedding reception at a family members house in amongst olive trees with a view over the Ocean.

The family is central to Corsica wedding celebrations and Cloé and Antoine’s wedding was natural and spontaneous to include all family members including their two small children. The small amount of wedding ‘details’ were handmade, but the focus what not on a style or theme, but pure wedding celebrations with the family.

The day before the wedding the happy couple met with their wedding photographer Jean-Charles Rey to get acquainted and fit in a little pre-wedding shoot. The party took a stroll between Sagone and Cargèse, a beach range and the village capturing precious couple moments before the big day.

This looks such a fun and vibrant wedding, but in particular I love the focus on the family shots of the newlywed. This wedding isn’t about details or styling aspirations, but simply celebrations!
