So today is the last in my Chateau Chic wedding style series and today we are looking at Chateau chic wedding dresses. Whether you are looking at buying a wedding dress in France or transporting your beautiful gown to your destination wedding, choosing your dress for your Chateau wedding can help to set the tone for the wedding theme itself.
Although not in a Chateau, my wedding was in an Abbey which like a Chateau has a sense of character that does influence your dress decision. My wedding gown was actually a Sophia Tolli two piece, which you might get to see in the future, watch this space…
So what dresses are fit for a Chateau chic wedding? The first dress that bride Jessica wore for her real life wedding at Chateau d’Esclimont was a stunning strapless gown and accessorised with a chunky necklace both Very Wang.
The second dress is a vintage inspired lace wedding dress by San Patrick part of the Pronovias Group, worn by Anastasia at her Chateau Challain real life wedding.
The Titania dress is from one of the UK’s leading independent couture bridal wear designers Yemi Osunyoka from Kosibah. Titania is a romantic ball gown, a dress of dreams that is soft, floaty and glistens with hand cut Swarovski crystals. The tight lace bodice and a full skirt of layers of tulle over silk taffeta are perfect for a romantic Chateau Chic wedding.
I love the chic and simplistic shape of the River next dress from Sarah Houston- 2012 Collection. Ideal for a no fuss bride the crystal detailing on the belt emphasises those tiny waists.
The Chateau Chic dress worn by Anna in her Dordogne wedding to Anthony is one of my favourite photos so far this year. When I got married the range of lace inspired wedding dresses was very limited, but I love the detailing on this and the long white gloves are simply fantastic.
Continuing my love of lace in Chateau Chic wedding dresses, is the fitted fishtail dress worn by Berglind in their Chateau Challain wedding.
