19th Century Chateau

A very happy Monday FWS readers, we hope you are looking forward to this brand new week? To help get this week off to a great start we are whisking you away to an 19th century chateau for a South West France wedding shoot.

Brought to us by Diane Kenyon-May from DKM Luxury Rentals, who specialises in finding secret and private venues for your unique day (or holidays). Using her proven wedding planning skills, transforms them according to your wishes to provide an unforgettable event. This styled shoot brought together a wonderful group of wedding vendors from the Bordeaux area of southwestern France.

If you’re looking for inspiration for your own romantic Chateau wedding this styled shoot has everything you need from a beautiful vintage wedding dress. Wonderful floral displays by Chez Valérie Deco and tasteful styling by Louise Pickford, all captured effortlessly by destination wedding photographer Ian Wallace.

“Louise, from Come Cook In France, our professional stylist and chef that worked for high end magazines such as Vogue, helped us set all the scenes and decoration. Without her the shoot wouldn’t have been as magical. Make-up and Hair were provided by Geraldine from L’institut GL and Eugenie Tastes. Both proved very professional, flexible and a pleasure to work with.”

“The vintage style dress and suit were lent by Sylvie from C’Mariage in Bordeaux and the beautiful flower arrangements were created by Chez Valérie Deco, with Valerie herself taking charge. Aude, the Chateau manager and Jay agreed to pose for us and made a lovely couple on the day!”
